Beaches

The most beautiful beaches of Sirolo

Beach of the two sisters

Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and wildest beaches in the Marche Region, made up of crystalline waters and fine gravel. The "Two Sisters" are the stacks that emerge from the water. Reachable only by sea: you can take the ferry from the port of Numana or reach it by canoe.

Sassi Neri and San Michele

In front of the sea, behind the green of the Mediterranean scrub. From the center of Sirolo, a few steps from the Relais, you can take the shuttle or reach it on foot thanks to the path that begins in the Parco della Repubblica (about 30 minutes' walk).

Sassi Neri and San Michele are part of a single long beach divided in two: the San Michele beach is completely surrounded by greenery, while the Sassi Neri beach, which takes its name from the dark rocks of its seabed, can be reached on foot from the beach of San Michele.

Urban Beach

It is located on the slopes of the village of Sirolo and for this reason it is one of the most famous beaches in the Marche region. On one side of the cove you can visit a beautiful natural cave. Easily accessible both by public transport and on foot.

Conero Park

The Conero Regional Park is a protected area born in 1987, which extends for 572 meters of Mediterranean scrub overlooking the sea, around Monte Conero.

Monte Conero

The name of this mountain and of the park derives from the strawberry tree, in Greek "Kamaros", an ancient evergreen shrub also called sea cherry. It is a typical plant of the Conero which produces the characteristic berries with a color that varies from orange to dark red, depending on the maturity of the fruit.

Here it is possible to walk along the 18 paths that wind through the woods, alone or preferably accompanied by an expert guide, observe the uncontaminated nature and discover the rich flora made up of over 100 protected species, an ideal habitat for the many birds of prey that they migrate here every spring. An area also rich in history and art, such as the Watchtower and the Romanesque church of Santa Maria, in the bay of Portonovo.

Exploring the Conero Park also means embarking on a journey into its most authentic flavours, such as oil, honey and the wine produced in this area called "Rosso Conero".

Conero Golf Club

Our structure has an agreement with the Conero Golf Club, inaugurated in 1992 in the Conero Park, in the municipality of Sirolo, known for its high quality standard of hospitality and services.

Almost seventy hectares of broom, strawberry trees, oaks, tamarisks and cherry trees that surround the 18-hole championship course and the 5-hole executive course. The frame, unchanged and preserved over the centuries, is the one offered by the extraordinary beauty of the Marche countryside, by its softness, its colours, its products, the hospitality of its people. Two synthetic grass fields also allow you to play tennis.

Frasassi caves

One of the most beautiful attractions in the country. The Frasassi Caves are located within the Gola della Rossa and Frasassi Regional Natural Park, in the municipality of Genga (AN). They are karst caves, discovered in 1971, which are characterized by a set of underground paths 30 km long, divided into 8 different geological levels. Inside you can admire natural sculptures, which were formed through centuries-old limestone concentrations, which take the name of stalagmites and stalactites.

The caves are open to the public and can be visited with expert guides, choosing different types of routes, differing in duration and difficulty. The temperature does not exceed 14°.

Castelfidardo

Located in the hills of the Conero Riviera, Castelfidardo is a town famous for the handcrafted production of the accordion, a folk instrument linked to the tradition of popular dance. Inside the Palazzo Comunale is the Accordion Museum, which illustrates all the stages in the history of this instrument, celebrated every year during the Accordion Festival.www.turismocastelfidardo.it

Loreto

One of the most important pilgrimage destinations in the Catholic world. The splendid city of Loreto, immersed in the Marche countryside, is known throughout the world for its Sanctuary where the Holy House of Nazareth of the Virgin Mary is kept: that is, the house in which Mary was born, lived and received the angelic announcement of her birth of Jesus. The Sanctuary houses masterpieces of architecture, sculpture and painting that make up a true anthology of sacred art.

Numana

Numana rises on the southern slopes of Monte Conero and consists of a double soul: the picturesque Numana Alta, which retains its maritime origins and is characterized by a network of narrow streets surrounded by colorful fishermen's houses, and Numana Bassa where the small port is located , an ancient Piceno port which has now become a tourist port. This area is full of clubs and bathing establishments.

Osimo

Osimo is another village located in the hinterland of the Marche hills, a few kilometers from the Riviera, disputed by various peoples over time: from the Piceni to the Romans. Opposite the town hall is the Campana palace which houses the Archaeological Museum where there are finds that testify to the Picene, Roman and Gallic frequentation of the town. Not far from the Town Hall is the Cathedral of San Leopardo, in Romanesque-Gothic style with a crypt (12th century) and a Baptistery.

Other places of interest: the church of San Francesco, the ancient Fonte Magna and the Grotte di Osimo with very suggestive tunnels and underground ways.

Offagna

Inland village and ancient medieval village. Offagna still maintains its historical characteristics intact, which come to life at the end of July, each year, with the characteristic Offagna Medieval Festival. On this occasion, the village comes alive through a typically medieval scenario: a village lit by torches, theatrical performances in period costumes, arms races and you can taste the typical "Crescia".

Recanati

The first obligatory stop is a visit to the eighteenth-century Palazzo Leopardi, the birthplace of the poet located in Piazza  "Sabato del Villaggio". Inside the building you can admire the writer's objects and manuscripts and the rich library. From here, following a guided tour, you can reach Mount Tabor, or rather the famous "hill of infinity", from which you can admire an enchanting panorama.

Other places of interest: the church of S. Agostino, the Palazzo Comunale, the Cathedral and the Diocesan Museum, seat of the Pinacoteca.
